Temenos

Temenos is the result of a series of live modular synthesiser sessions recorded in London between July and August 2019. Across its duration, the piece is wrapped in a cloud of analogue tones undergoing a continuous process of subtle manipulation. The interplay between the original sounds and their delayed counterparts creates elusive musical pockets that disperse and re-form in seemingly infinite ways. While the first half is relatively animated and chaotic, the piece gradually slows and opens out, morphing into an expanded, meditative soundscape.
